I am a senior student in civil engineering. I am a person quite dedicated to the projects and activities in which I get involved, I like to volunteer in causes related to helping animals and vulnerable communities. Some of my hobbies are listening to music, reading, learning new things also spend time in my parents’ farm. When I'm out of college I spend time with my family in my hometown, I have a German shepherd named Tyrion and a chubby cat named Lola, they are the reason I'm so interested in helping animals, the work I've done with vulnerable communities has been with foundations that provide food for them. In my life plan in short-term is to be able to contribute financially to these foundations.

My name is Andrés Cortés, I'm 19 years old and I'm finance student in Javeriana University. In this opportunity I will to talk about me for you to know me a little bit more. I have three passions: riding horse, drive and my favorite soccer team, Millonarios. I'm people person, who migth seem to be a little bit serious at the begining for many, but then they realise I like to be jocking all the time and making people laugh. Also, I love taking about many topics and I always try to have something to apport to discussions. I'm good at mathematics and at analyzing problems, that's why I never believe all people said, I always try to identify different aspects of a problem to assess it. I wish this can help me to contribute to constructive discusions we will post on this blog.
